If a patient about 5' is sitting in the recliner, they may need a pillow or back pad for added comfort. If using a back pad, please follow the video to the right. If using a head pillow, position the pillow in the lumbar area and if desired one behind the head.

Raising the leg rest and tilting the seat (not the entire recliner) back will also provide a sense of secure positioning.
